Hi! My name is Blake! I am a transgender man in my mid-20s who has been out since 2016 and has been medically transitioning since 2024.

Over the past few years I have overcome countless battles with the current state of the NHS regarding transgender health care and the state of the entire department of trans health within the UK. Because of this, I have come to the conclusion that if I want top surgery, I will have to find a way to go private instead of sitting on the NHS waitlist for another 8+ years. This surgery is incredibly important to me as it will allow me to live more comfortably in my own skin, and will allow me to live an easier life as a man. I would love to spend the rest of my life having had this surgery done as soon as possible so it can be another thing I don’t need to worry about.

The funds raised from this campaign will go towards that goal - leaving the UK to seek surgery in another country. This is due to it being cheaper in Europe than it is here, with it being up to 10k just to have it done in the UK.

The goal is 6k, and this will cover the surgery itself as well as flights + accommodation for the week I would have to stay after the surgery. I have many countries to choose from, and the goal set will cover it in a number of them so I will be able to pick the best of the bunch.
