Hello, my name is Tera Litten. I am Randy Welch's daughter. Unfortunately, the "C" word has struck again. A couple of weeks ago my dad began having sudden loss of the use of his legs that would come and go. After several doctors visits, ER trips, and diagnostic tests, we were informed that he had a large tumor on the right frontal lobe of his brain. He was taken into emergency neurosurgery and the tumor was removed. However, the pathology report came back stating that he had a stage 4 Glioblastoma. This type of brain cancer is extremely aggressive and requires extensive and frequent treatment that will consist of 6 weeks of daily chemotherapy and radiation. Due to his pathology, the treatment will involve the whole brain instead of being concentrated in one particular area.

The treatment center that he will need to go to is approximately 45 minutes from where they live. Since he will need to go daily for such an extended period of time, I have started this fundraiser to help my family with the hope of alleviating some of their financial stress so that we can focus on keeping him comfortable and getting him well. These funds will go towards helping them with everyday expenses, including gas for their daily travels to the center, and all other medical needs that may arise.
