Charity skydive to raise funds for The Staffordshire 3
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
Myself and Anthony may have finally cracked (joking that happened a while ago! )
Whilst on the phone discussing new ways to raise money for the Staffordshire 3, following on from all of the amazing work done so far, we came up with the genius idea of throwing ourselves from a plane!
I have popped some information below for anyone that doesn't know what the Staffordshire 3 is all about, we both really appreciate and would like to thank you in advance for any donation given for this fantastic cause!
Love from Hope and Ant ❤️
We are raising funds for a permanent memorial that will be seated in the castle grounds on the lower lawn.
This memorial will mainly honour 3 soldiers of the 1st Bn The Staffordshire Regiment that died whilst on operations in Iraq on the 16th of July 2005, when their vehicle was struck by an IED (improvised explosive device). They were 2nd Lt Richard Shearer (Nuneaton), Pte Leon Spicer (Tamworth), Pte Phillip Hewett (Tamworth).
It will also have a role of honour of all 179 Armed Forces personnel that died during the Iraq conflict.
This will be an interactive memorial via a QR code that will take you to a website with various pages of information about the Staffords mission in Iraq, kit and equipment used at the time, stories from some of the lads that they served with.
This is being done by former members that served with the lads, and genuine people that care for this project, and that feel that they should be remembered in the right way.
