Professional Upright Bass

Hello Friends, Family, and Supporters,

My name is Kellum Jones, and I am an International Baccalaureate (IB) student at Hardaway High School. I am reaching out to raise funds for an instrument that is essential to my continued growth in music. After playing the upright bass for nine years, I am now in need of a professional double bass to further my musical journey.

Throughout my years of playing, I have been fortunate to use loaner instruments, and I deeply appreciate the opportunities this has provided me. However, as I progress in my musical career, I find myself in need of a professional-grade instrument to fully realize my potential.

My musical achievements include:

Earning a superior rating at the Solo and Ensemble Festival with a double bass solo performance

Participating in the Honor Orchestra multiple times

Performing with the All-State Orchestra

Upcoming participation in the Youth Orchestra of Greater Columbus

Additionally, I am honored to be attending the Ruth S. Schwob School of Music, which will further enhance my skills and opportunities in music.
