In Memory of Sophie and Lara

On the 4th of July 2025, beautiful angels Sophie and Lara passed away due to TTTS Syndrome (Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome), a condition that affects identical twins.

To honour their memory, and on what would have been their due dates—September 18th, 19th, and 20th—their devoted mother Kim, alongside family and friends, will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in just three days.

This incredible challenge is to raise funds for the Pili Pala Bereavement Suite on the Maternity Ward at Glangwili Hospital, where Sophie and Lara were cared for. The staff at Glangwili were outstanding—providing comfort, compassion, and kindness during the most heartbreaking time in Kim’s life.

To give back, Kim hopes to raise enough money to purchase a medical-grade double bed and some colourful artwork to help make the suite more comforting for other families who may sadly have to use it in the future.
