RAISE MONEY FOR SURVIVE

On the 27th of April 2025 I will be running the London marathon. Less than 1% of the worldwide population run a marathon. Despite suffering with pneumonia and being taken into intensive care earlier this year I will succeed in completing the marathon in sub 4 hours.

I have decided to raise money for the victims of sexual violence and abuse. 1 in 4 women in the UK are subject to rape and sexual abuse at some point in their life time. The global statistic is even worse at 1 in 3. 

In Yorkshire the statistics are worse than the national average. The charity Survive based in York provides specific and targeted support for the victims of sexual violence and abuse including rape. Thousands of people commit suicide every year caused by the depression from sexual trauma. 

Without the money from fund-raising then Survive cannot function as a charity. https://www.survive-northyorks.org.uk
