The Glenview Environmental Restoration Network (GERN) is a student-led community organization, dedicated to making Glenview cleaner and sustaining a healthy environment in our community. Our mission is to achieve a cleaner community and to bring about awareness for a more "green" lifestyle by organizing local trash pickups, planting native species in our region, teaching others about the environment, and other hands-on eco-friendly projects. We believe that every small action adds up. Whether it’s removing litter from the sidewalk, caring for local parks, or inspiring young people to take pride in their environment, GERN strives to make a visible, positive impact on our community. All funds are dedicated towards supplies necessary for carrying out events and projects.
