Hi my names Lauren, Reggie is my baby, my absolute world.

He's been such an unlucky pickle, he had cancer in his leg 2 years ago. Which we got removed & he has regular oncology visits, but we were approaching the point of him being signed off.

He then had an injury in his neck a few months ago, after an emergency MRI we were told he had a bulging disc, which we managed to prevent getting worse with pain meds and 6 weeks of rest. And he’s back to his crazy self.

On Sunday 22nd Reggie had a tickly cough & coughed up a little blood. (he hasn’t done this since & other than that is completely fine in himself)

So I took him to the vets & they referred us for emergency CT scan.

Which turned out to be my worst nightmare!! I was told he has a tumour on his heart & right lung.

We are trying to figure out which is the best choice for him either surgery to remove the lung one (as right now that is the most aggressive) or chemo to attack both the tumours. Over the next few days I will need to make that decision.

Either way I cannot save him. I can only prolong his life, I want to make it the happiest however long I may have with him. I just want to keep him for as long as I can, as long as his quality of life isn’t impacted.

Because right now you would never know he’s poorly, which is what hurts the most ☹️

I obviously have insurance but it’s rubbish & doesn’t cover much cost & especially with the other illnesses he’s had. I’m still in debt to his cancer removal 2 years ago, adding the MRI a few months ago and the CT scan on Tuesday to the bill. It’s a lot. I’m 25 & I’m struggling but I will do anything for that boy.

The possible surgery which is estimated £9-10k or chemo.

I just thought I’d try to get any kind of help, we’d be grateful for a £1. I will do whatever I can, I need my baby to be here with me.

Hes my absolute rock, I really couldn’t do life without him. The love is something I’ve never felt, he’s been with me through some horrible times and he is my consistent.

He's the cutest, most caring and craziest little 8 year old.
