Raise Money for NYC Healthcare Professionals

With complete transparency, I’m not entirely sure who this $ should go to. I know that’s not the most reassuring thing to read for the first sentence of a fundraising campaign. I do know however, that during these crazy times, when we are home safe and on lockdown, there’s still people out there that are on the frontlines doing all of the hard work – healthcare workers. My fiancé is in the healthcare system at a hospital in NYC.  She’s constantly strapping up every day and heading into the belly of the beast, while I sit on my ass at home. I want to raise enough money to ensure that those people are taken care of. Whether it be a beer at the end of the day, a hot meal or some type of medical supplies. I’m looking into a foundation that best might use these funds.

In the interim, I’m looking to raise enough money so we have a good enough starting point. I’m pretty bored at home, but I feel like we could do a little bit more to help….Every time I drink a Corona, I’ll ask someone to donate a dollar to the fund. Remember icebucket? Pretty simple. #deletecorona I’m not sure how these viral things work, but let’s try to do some good. I will provide updates as to the use of funds. I’m also open for suggestions as to where we can put $'s to work. Let’s do our parts. Thanks all.
