This man saved our lives.
On August 3rd, 2022, around 4:15 pm, while on safari in Africa, our amazing Tracker, Musi Myeni, was attacked by a Cape Buffalo bull.
Musi risked his life to save us; now, we urgently need to help save him.
The Cape Buffalo punctured his right leg, nicking his femoral artery. The right side of his face suffered a very deep laceration from his chin to his ear and he fractured his C2 vertebra.
He was airlifted to a remarkable hospital in Durban, where he is receiving treatment to stabilize him. He will need many surgeries to get through this, the expenses of which are beyond his ability to pay. For the cost of the life-flight, for the surgeries, for the rehabilitation, for the impact this will take on his ability to care for his family, Musi needs our help!
Musi, age 36, has been a tracker for Garry Kelly Safaris for years. He is the strongest man we have ever met. Please keep Musi, his family (including 4 young children) and the doctors in your prayers.
I am An African
For her blue skies take my breath away
And my hope for future is bright
I am an African
For her people greet me as Family
And teach me the meaning of community
I am an African
For her wildness quenches my spirit
And brings me closer to the source of life
