My Amazing sister Ali is turning 18 next year. I’m sure many of you have met her and experienced her humour and character. Ali has been lucky enough to have been supported by so many people throughout her life but many people facing the same problems as Ali have not had this help. L’Arche state “We are people with and without learning disabilities, on a mission to build a world where everyone belongs. We create Communities where people with and without learning disabilities live and work alongside each other. We seek to grow by building mutual relationships across our diversity and differences, and to work together for a more human society.”

I will be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon to raise money and awareness for this great charity!
