Raise money for Gru’s cancer treatments

Grookey is my 3 year old Bernese Mountain Dog. We took Gru in to see the vet for a skin irritation and after doing a physical, the vet noticed Gru had some swollen lymph nodes. Of course we proceeded with all kinds of tests to find out that Gru tested positive for Lymphoma. We met with an Oncologist and began treatment right away. Given his age, we only opted for level 2 with our insurance plan and the yearly coverage for this condition only covers the cost of 2-3 of his 14 chemo doses. We are beyond devastated.

Gru was previously diagnosed with kidney disease which we have managed and stabilized through his diet. It’s not been an easy ride but it has been worth it.

Gru was supposed to be our crossover dog to help our family transition as we would eventually say goodbye to our beloved Monty. We will do our best to give Gru the care he needs and do right by him. Any help would be truly appreciated.
