Raise Money for Funeral & Monument Expenses

On Sunday, the world just lost an incredible person. He was part of the Battlegrounds family, and we want to help raise money to cover the costs of both funeral expenses, and purchasing a proper monument. Unfortunately, Shane did not have Life Insurance. We are attempting to raise $10,000 to make sure ALL of Shane’s funeral expenses are taken care of.

Shane was such a positive force in the local comic book community. If you had ever met Shane, it wouldn’t be long before you knew he had a heart of gold. He would ALWAYS think of others before himself.

Shane was a bevy of pop culture knowledge, and would talk your ear off as long as you would listen. His stories were almost unbelievable, but once you got to know him, you would finally start to believe them.

If you ever watched our weekly comic book live sale, he was always lively and ready to sell you a comic book, and regardless of what you bought, he always had something positive to say about the book.

He was the member of our staff that was a little “ruff around the edges”, but was an absolute pleasure to be around. He loved to talk comics, toys, and the Misfits. He was truly ONE OF A KIND.

He will be missed. We love you Shane.
