UPDATE 23/03. I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has donated. £1,500 is an incredible amount to raise and I really hope this money will do some good. I have contacted Bill's partner to arrange the transfer of the funds in the coming days, and I'll update once this is complete.

Hi, I'm Ben. I met Bill - along with the other friends in our Whatsapp group - through playing games online many years ago. Over the last 15 years we've met up in person several times, and chatted away literally every single day. I know he was also well known and loved in the Destiny 2 online community, a testament to the kind of person Bill was.

On Monday 7th March, Bill passed away suddenly. It is difficult to put into words how much he meant to us, and how hard the message from his father informing us of his passing hit us.

With the permission of Bill's father, I have set up this fundraising page. Every penny raised will go to Bill's partner and young daughter.
