CATHOLIC CHURCH HAVERFORDWEST - For essential building work

Donation protected
St David and St Patrick’s Church in Haverfordwest is appealing for public support to help preserve a historic church that has served the community since 1872.

The church urgently requires repairs to its ageing roof and building structure to ensure it can continue supporting local families, elderly residents and vulnerable people for generations to come.

Built to the designs of renowned architect Richard Williams of Carmarthen, the church has long been at the heart of the community and continues to serve people from a wide range of backgrounds and ethnicities.

Volunteers from the parish and the St Vincent de Paul Society provide vital support to those facing poverty, loneliness and hardship. Weekly lunch clubs offer warm meals, friendship and a welcoming place for people to meet and socialise.

Without urgent financial support, maintaining the church and continuing these services will become increasingly difficult.

Every donation — large or small — will help protect both the building and the valuable community work it supports

Every donation, no matter how small, will help preserve this historic church and the community support it provides for future generations.
