In recent months three Mams of players and a coach in our Ammanford Under 14 & 16 girls football team have been diagnosed with varied forms of cancer. It’s understandably a difficult time for the Mams and families involved. All three Mams, with the amazing support of the Chemotherapy units at Singleton Hospital and Prince Phillip Hospital are currently bravely battling their way through treatment. The players, coaches and parents are going to trek up Penyfan on Saturday 26th July 2025 and we are hoping to raise some funds with the aim of giving something back to the amazing NHS staff who are supporting our mams during this difficult time. Any donations would be amazing and very much appreciated. 

On the same day one of the Ammanford AFC coaches Leo Jones will attempt to walk up and down Penyfan as many times possible over a 24 hour period, again with the aim of drawing in more donations for both units.
