Help Me Take the Next Step in Fighting for Justice

My name is Hannah Chowdhry, and I currently serve as the Global Programmes and Communications Manager for the British Asian Christian Association. Every day, I work to support and advocate for persecuted Christians, particularly in Pakistan, where many face severe discrimination and injustice.

I’m incredibly excited and grateful to share that I have been offered a prestigious international internship with Go Abroad China, where I will be working with Jiahua Law Firm. This opportunity was recommended to me by the law faculty at University of Aberdeen, who have supported my journey into the legal field.

During this internship, I will gain hands-on experience in international law and humanitarian law—two areas that are essential to my long-term goal of qualifying as a solicitor. My passion is to use the law as a tool to defend the vulnerable, especially Pakistani Christians who are often victims of injustice, including false accusations under blasphemy laws.

Looking ahead, I have also been deeply encouraged by Saif ul Malook, who has offered to help create a pathway through pupilage for me to qualify as a lawyer in Pakistan. This would allow me, one day, to directly represent victims of blasphemy accusations and stand alongside those who desperately need legal protection.

This internship is more than just a professional opportunity—it is a crucial step toward fulfilling my calling to fight for justice and human rights on a global scale.

The total cost of this internship is £3,900, which will cover programme fees, accommodation, and essential living expenses during my time in China. I am seeking support to help make this opportunity possible.
