Hi everyone, we’re Charlie and Georgia Mercer. For those who know us, it’s likely that you’re also lucky enough to know our beautiful mum Wendy, too.

In February 2025, mum was diagnosed with grade II invasive breast cancer following a routine mammogram.

After two surgeries to remove her tumour, Mum has now begun her lengthy chemotherapy journey which will be followed by radiotherapy and hormone therapy.

On Monday 17th June, Mum made the brave decision to shave off her hair, after it all started to fall out from two cycles of chemotherapy. For those who know Mum, will know that this was the hardest decision she could have possibly made - she had the loveliest, longest hair that was complimented almost every day.

Georgia and I have been looking into purchasing a bespoke human hair wig for Mum, but much to our ignorance, they unfortunately don’t come cheap. So, we’re are kindly asking for donations, no matter how small, so we can buy a wig for Mum and help bring her spark back.

Our mum Wendy is the most selfless person we know, and is kicking cancer in the butt with the biggest, bravest smile on her face. She has given us the whole world, and we would love to be able to repay her in some small way, by showing her just how much support she really has behind her.
