Hi my name is Brieanne and I am raising the rest of the money to fund my son’s portable oxygen compressor. A charity has very kindly offered to donate half the amount and now we need to raise the rest.

This will give him such a better quality of life and allow him to experience ‘regular’ childhood experiences! It will enable him to go abroad without having to worry about extra cost and will also encourage him to be more independent because it is half the weight of his regular oxygen tanks and has wheels. His current set up which is provided by the NHS means that he has to have someone carry it for him because it’s just too heavy.

The money will go towards the compressor itself and extra batteries because the battery only lasts a certain amount of hours and running out isn’t an option due to him needing oxygen 24/7.

This compressor isn’t something that the NHS can provide due to its cost so hopefully we can raise the money in time, we have 6 months!
