Netanyahu wants to keep his cynical and disastrous strategy secret. Let’s publish it as a full-page advert in the New York Times.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has long been trying to destroy any hope of peaceful co-existence with Palestinians.

Part of his strategy has been to bolster the extremists of Hamas, so that there is no united Palestinian leadership to negotiate with. It’s the age-old strategy of divide and conquer.

In 2019, at a private meeting with members of his Likud party, he said

“Anyone who wants to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state has to support bolstering Hamas and transferring money to Hamas. This is part of our strategy"

At a time when the world is clamouring for a ceasefire and the release of the hostages, the one person standing in the way of both is Netanyahu.

The US government is currently backing Netanyahu’s strategy of mass war crimes in Gaza and endangering the lives of Israeli hostages.

That’s why it’s so critical we bring this quote to the heart of US debate in the form of a full-page advert in the New York Times.

If together we can raise $100,000 we can help send a message to those in power that Netanyahu is not a partner to be trusted by anyone.
