Hi there,

For those of you who do not know me my name is Sara Jane (I commonly go by SJ). A few of us created this GoFundMe for a dear friend who is currently going through a very difficult time. Marissa and I met when I started at TVETS in January of this year. It didn’t take much time for it to become very evident how much this woman is a part of the heart and soul that makes that hospital run. It also became evident that she is that loud, long island sibling none of us asked for but we couldn’t imagine our lives without her.

Marissa has been a dedicated employee of TVETS in almost every department for the past decade. She pours her heart and soul into helping her patients and building up her fellow nurses, VA’s and our doctors. Recently she has been displaced by her living situation, had to say goodbye to the sweetest crunchy cat I’ve ever met and got into an accident that led to her not having transportation. Despite all this, her first concern remains those around her.

For someone who’s been so dedicated to those around her, we feel it is time that she gets back some of the good that she has so willingly given out. This GoFundMe is to help Marissa get back on her feet and raise her back up the way she has for so many of us. Specifically, the funds we raise would go to moving costs and a new car. We know that the economy is tough right now and donations might not be an option for everyone, but please share to get the word out!

We just ask if you share the GoFundMe to block Marissa from seeing it on social media. She is aware of this but doesn’t know the amount we are trying to raise or how we are getting the word out.
