Help Lay Hector Salazar to Rest Peacefully

Hi,

My name is Harleigh. I’m fundraising for my stepdad Hector Salazar- also known as Tony - who tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday January 25, 2022. He was in the hospital for 12 days fighting for his life on Emergency MediCal. He was the main provider for our growing family of 5, with my mom currently 12 weeks pregnant with his baby.

Hector was 45 years old and a resident of Carson, CA.

Hector was a very loved and well-respected member of the ILWU Community- Local 26.

He was always looking out for others, helping in any way that he could. He enjoyed quality time with his family/friends. Hector loved to dance and was a phenomenal cook. He was a selfless, caring, honest, joyful, loving person. The kind of person that could light up any room that he walked into and lift you with his good spirits and beaming smile.

No one could have ever imagined what would happen on that day. In the blink of an eye a cherished soul was taken abruptly from us.
