After many years of struggle and striving for the sake of God and then serving the community, the Letterkenny Islamic Association is finally in a position to buy land for our much needed purpose built Islamic and Cultural Centre. Having recently attained planning permission, we now need to raise the rest of the funds to purchase the land. The Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) said "Whoever builds a masjid for God, be it small or large, then God will build a house for him in paradise".

This will be an Islamic and Cultural Centre where the true moderate message of Islam is taught to this and coming generations. Where Muslims from all parts of the community can come together to glorify Him and to have a place we can call our own. Where Muslims and non-Muslims can come together in peace and harmony and integrate together. We intend for this centre to be a beacon of light. May God bless it. Ameen.

The money raised in this GoFundMe will be used to purchase the land where the centre is to be built, God willing. The total cost of the land is €260,000. We have already paid a 10% deposit and have raised funds over the years. This fundraiser is to raise the remaining €150,000 required to be able to complete the sale.
