Hello! I have spent the last two years writing a semi-autobiographical novel about my experiences in my early twenties. This has been between working two jobs, one in the care industry and also an evening cleaning job. I am at the point where I need some help to get it properly edited and also hopefully get a cover design created, to take the next step.

Without this professional input I do not believe I will be able to bring the novel up to its full potential and give it the chance to reach as many readers as possible. I have already approached numerous editors and have found two that I think understand what I am trying to achieve and they have quoted around £1500. The cost of a cover design can sit anywhere between £300 and £3000, although naturally, I will be looking at the lower end.

Anyone kind enough to donate I would be happy to send a copy of the book as it is at the moment (word document) and I would also thank them in the final book if and when it gets published.

I am under no illusion that this will receive the Booker prize, but I have spent many years honing my skills and I believe that this is the best work I have ever managed to create.

For a little context, the main themes in the novel are addiction, depression, and existential nihilism. That being said, I'd like to think that there are a lot of laughs along the way as you follow me through failing relationships, a failing band, and many low skilled jobs.
