Burdened by caring for his ill mother, a young man escapes into a reckless night out with friends, only for a clash with his best mate to shatter the distraction, where he is confronted with the responsibility and guilt he’s been desperately outrunning.

We are so excited to bring our amazing filmmakers' vision to life this semester as we pull together our 2025 graduate film titled 'Milkbar'.

Milkbar is a coming of age drama film that our three writers have passionately collaborated on, which focuses on central themes such as family burdens and responsibility, as well as escapism and avoidance.

We would greatly appreciate any donations that will go towards the production of making this film from set design and equipment, to providing transport and food to our cast/crew! Most importantly, any assistance will give Milkbar's creators that extra bit of creative freedom to allow this film to thrive!
