Help Us Feed Our 11 Rescue Donkeys This Winter

Hi, my name is Kirsty, and I care for 11 wonderful rescue donkeys at Kirsty’s Diddly Donkeys, a not-for-profit organisation based in Derbyshire.

Every one of our donkeys has their own personality and story. Some have experienced neglect or mistreatment in the past, but they now have a safe and loving forever home where they can live peacefully, surrounded by their donkey friends and cared for every day.

We rely entirely on the kindness of our supporters and the donations raised through our Donkey Days. We do not receive any outside funding, and 100% of every donation goes directly towards caring for our herd. This includes:

Straw and feed

Farrier visits and hoof care

Veterinary treatment and vaccinations

Dental checks and worming

Shelter, fly protection and other essentials

Unexpected medical care and emergencies

We are now raising money towards our donkeys’ winter straw and feed costs. Winter is one of the most expensive times of the year. During the cold, wet months, our donkeys need plenty of good-quality straw, additional feed and a warm, dry shelter to keep them comfortable, healthy and well-fed.

With 11 little bellies to fill, the cost soon adds up—but every donation will make a genuine difference.
