Help get team Byrne to the WMAC world championships 2025
Donation protected
Becky Biddick, Helen Oatley and Jo Bluck are taking part in the Bodmin Lions Ten Tors on May 18th to raise funds towards the costs involved for the children from Byrne Black Belt Academy competing at the 2025 WMAC world championships in September, at Hull University, representing Team England.
The Ten Tors is a 13 mile hike across Bodmin Moor, hopefully in nice weather, but moorland weather can be slightly unpredictable!!!!
Depending on the results at a final qualifier in June, it could be around 30 young fighters taking part from BBBA to represent team England. Becky and Helen both have children who have qualified already to represent Team England. Jo is coming along just for the sheer delight of it and to provide extra support en route!
This is an amazing opportunity that each child has qualified for from previous competitions, and will be such a great experience for them all - and on home ground!
All money raised from the fundraising will go directly to individual fighters to help cover the costs in them getting to this event, including team England kits, medicals, entry fees, travel and accommodation.
Thank you for your support
