In 2020, amid the Cootie Apocolapse, was when I decided to take my hair passion seriously and build a business legacy. When I stopped doubting my gifts, opportunities began to open for me. Within two years of officially being in business, I transformed from a kitchen beautician to a salon owner. So far, I have received $15,000 in grants from the Small Business Administration. The grant money from the SBA has been used to secure the salon location, and now I'm looking to raise an extra $25,000 to help furnish the salon.
Sivilized Queens, LLC, is an intuitive, natural hair care healing salon. Intuitive hair care is an underrated concept but has proven to yield positive results of healthy hair growth.
Each stylist at Sivilized Queens, LLC takes pride in having gentle, intentional healing hands guaranteed to achieve pain-free styles so that clients may rest well at night and achieve optimal hair growth.
Our services include Loc maintenance, two-strand twist, intuitive cuts, interlocking, crochet, and loc extensions. Services can be combined with Reiki healing and sound bath hair washes.
Sivilized Queen, LLC, is a certified green salon. Not using products with chemicals allows natural hair to be composted. The salon also has a living water system (for hair washing) and air purifiers by Vollara. Having this equipment in place delivers a holistic salon experience for our clients.
