Raise Funds for Scientific Research
Hi, my name is Flo. I am an Independent Scientist that is aiming to create a company (Space Technologies Lab) that will be able to further technology and science, while not having the constraints that grants can impose. This action, while potentially risky, will ensure science can keep progressing. The current model of grants and company sponsorships leads to an environment that restricts research to those considered as safe investments, which greatly slows actual progress.
At Space Technologies Lab, we aim to create an environment for scientific research and technology development that encourages people to openly talk about research that they would like to partake in. However, the only way we can pursue this is to rely on kind donations from the public.
At this stage of development, as of the start of this GoFundMe, we only have 2 people working and are struggling financially as we are relying on self funding to keep operations going.
Three of our current research areas are:
Robotics:
By researching this area, we hope to create machines that could operate in hazardous environments to minimize risk to human lives. These machines would be controlled by people, creating further work opportunities in the process.
Life Support:
Our aim here is to help those that are living in environments that pose dangers to human lives. Some of the factors we hope to help with are temperature regulation, food and water supply, bio hazards (including harmful bacteria and viruses), and also hazards created by people, including microplastics. We will explore the potential for this on Earth, space, and other planets and moons.
Recycling:
In order for human longevity to persist, we will need to minimize waste and be able to reuse any material that we can. This will create new jobs, and give us stability in our resources.
I am incredibly thankful for any donations that we receive, as well as you taking the time to read this. If you are unable to donate, please share this GoFundMe, as it helps tremendously. Thank you again.
Flo
