Burial and Funeral Services for Jim Ford

Hi, my name is Kirsten Ford and I am the daughter of recently and suddenly passed, James (Jim) Ford. On March 3rd, I was driving in front of my father, who suddenly passed away from Cardiac Arrest and rear ended me in our hometown in Hayward. He was dead at the scene and the EMTs, and doctors at St. Rose, were unable to get a heartbeat from my dad, leaving him losing oxygen to his brain for 40 minutes. Miraculously through prayer, my dad woke up and seemed to be fighting his hardest to come back to us. He suffered an extreme amount of brain damage but his EEG showed brain activity, so we had hope. He then remained stagnant in his recovery, and then quickly declined. My father fought a long hard battle with Congestive Heart Failure (and other ailments) and lost his fight on Wednesday, March 13th. I’ve made this gofundme on his behalf so that he may have a proper burial, so his family and friends can say goodbye to him one last time before we give his body back to the earth and to show my respects as his child and honor his life. Jim was the most generous, caring, selfless and loyal person we have ever had the honor of knowing.
