Raise funds for our short film FRAMES

We are raising funds for the upcoming production of ‘Frames’. A short film from SAE students (Riley Bell, Dean Zhao, Ren Gunn, and Adrian Gomez Meneses) that journeys into the identity of self and the persona you present yourself as in public, and how that persona is a character that doesn't necessarily reflect who you really are.

Five friends share a drink at a bar after the passing of a member of their friend group from high school. Naturally they have all but drifted apart in the years since and upon hurting from the lives that they once had to the life they had now, they lash out at each other, putting on fronts of who they are now and how successful they really are.

The story culminates with their individual journeys home after the meeting, we see the frame split off into 5 and simultaneously shows how each character changes when they aren't in public and the person they really are, and the situation they live in is revealed.

Donation to this Bake sale will ensure options for production such as accommodation, catering, location and equipment hire.

The shoot features heavily in Bendigo over 2-3 weekends in October, so giving our Melbourne based actors and crew a place to sleep during the production will dramatically improve the production quality and morale. We’re looking to take our film making to the next level, so any support you can provide is much appreciated.
