My name is Kevin and I am the site manager for Hatchside Juniors and Infants schools. There are constant requests to have better and more equipment for the children to benefit from but funds are often difficult to come by for the bigger things. With the 2 sites often coming together to make use of the whole trust I would take great pride in being able to raise enough to get some new equipment in the playground and classrooms for all to use and this will depend on how much we donate. Please be as generous as you are able.
To do this I will take on 2 cycling challenges on back to back Sundays in May 2026, each of these are singly considered to be the hardest in the UK.
The first is "The Fred Whitton" challenge in the Lake District. 113 miles with 3500meters of climbing!! One of the UK’s most revered and gruelling cycling sportives. Known as “The Daddy of them all” by Cycling Weekly, this legendary event is not just a ride—it’s a true test of endurance that rivals Europe’s toughest cycling challenges, such as the Marmotte. For those who conquer it, the sense of achievement is unmatched. See here for more on this - fredwhittonchallenge.co.uk
The second is "The tour of the Peak" in the Peak District. Have you got what it takes to attempt this challenging ride? The long route is probably one of the toughest challenges that can be done at 115 Miles and over 3000meters of climbing, it certainly isn’t to be underestimated! Your donations and commitment is greatly appreciated. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
