Raise funds for our new Chapel in memory of Mr Wellbeloved
Donation protected
In memory of Mr Andrew Wellbeloved
It has long been the ambition for Townsend to have a school chapel and we are thrilled to announce that this vision is coming to fruition. The chapel is set to be completed by the end of this year, with an official opening in 2025 to coincide with the 50th Anniversary of our school being at the High Oaks site.
We are launching a fundraising campaign in memory of our beloved late Head, Mr Wellbeloved, to complete the chapel project. Donations are sought from individuals, groups, and churches for seating for the chapel – both chairs and pews. All those who donate will have the option to have their names included in a book of benefactors for the chapel.
The chapel will be a beautiful space, adorned with light wooden furniture, and will be accessible to all for reflection and worship. The chapel project has been generously kick-started by contributions from various churches, the Diocese of St Albans, as well as investment from the school itself.
