3Peaks Challenge for Neath's Nails Children's Cancer Charity
Donation protected
I am Rob Simpson, my youngest daughter Neath was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma in June 2022 aged 11 years old. After a long-fought battle she kicked cancers butt, however she needed a Stem Cell Transplant to make sure it didn’t come back. On the 28th May 2023 my beautiful daughter just 12 years old, gained her angel wings following complications in Stem Cell at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
During treatment Neath‘s nails became discoloured, a common side effect of chemotherapy. Neath loved painting her nails to hide the discolouration, and the nurses and doctors would often comment on her vibrant nails.
As a family we are honouring Neath by gifting nail care packages to children going through the oncology journey, something no child should have to go through. Neath’s Nails is now a registered Children’s Cancer Charity.
To honour Neath, 8 friends and I will attempt to complete the three peaks challenge within 24 hrs starting on the 26th June. (Darren, Jamie, Dean, Daniel, Dal, Dave, Harvey and Giles) We will start at Ben Nevis, followed by Scafell Pike, and ending at Snowdon on the 27th June.
Your donations will go towards gifts, vouchers and gift experiences to children kicking cancers butt! All to put smiles on their little faces.
