Update August 2025- From Emma ❤️
A heartfelt thank you to my amazing husband Mark, who raised £140 for my cancer supplements through his incredible 105-mile run!
Every contribution truly makes a difference. The monthly cost of my treatments is significant, and I’m doing everything I can to keep up with them. It seems to be helping—slowing the growth of the cancer on my liver and allowing me to delay chemotherapy for as long as possible.
Chemotherapy won’t be curative for me, as the cancer has already metastasised from my cervix to my liver. I know this can be hard to understand, but it’s the reality I live with—and I’m doing my best to navigate it.
Here’s a glimpse of what my current treatment plan looks like:
• Weekly high-dose Vitamin C: £190 per session
• Oxygen therapy at YourGym Lytham: 2–3 times a week at £20 per session (thank you for your kindness!)
• Supplements from the Netherlands: 15–20 daily, costing around £75 per week
• Care Oncology Clinic protocol: £200/month for consultations + £100/month for medication
• Curaleaf medicinal cannabis: £100/month + £100 follow-up every 6 weeks
• Medical menopause support: Additional patches at £75/month (as NHS only covers half the oestrogen I need)
• Other essentials: Turmeric shots (£35/month), melatonin from the U.S., and more
It all adds up quickly, and every bit of support helps me stay on this path.
I’ve heard that some people were upset that I recently went on holiday to Greece with my two daughters, especially while Mark has been fundraising for my treatment. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion. But I want to gently share that this trip was about creating memories with my girls while I’m still well enough to do so. I don’t have the luxury of time that many others do.
Balancing cancer treatment with living life to the fullest is a tightrope I walk every day. I promise that every donation has gone directly toward my treatment, and I’m deeply grateful for your love and support.
To those who may speculate or judge: I truly hope you never find yourself in this position. I continue to feel fortunate to be alive, and I wish you all health, happiness, and peace.
With love and huge appreciation as always
Emma xx
Running 105 Miles for Emma
I’m lacing up my shoes to cover 105 miles across the Lake District, fueled by love, hope, and the urgent need to fund Emma’s next round of lifesaving treatments.

Why This Run Matters
Emma’s cervical cancer returned and spread to her liver. Just three months ago her hepatic deposits were small and stable. In our latest sca this week, those same spots have grown—some by up to 30%—and there’s a new lesion on her spleen.
• 2.8 x 0.9 cm (was 2.6 x 0.7 cm)
• 2.1 x 0.8 cm (was 1.8 x 0.6 cm)
• 2.3 x 1.4 cm (was 1.8 x 1.1 cm)

Next Steps: Treatment Options
Our consultant is exploring surgery to remove the larger deposits, followed by chemotherapy. She has also advised us to look into histotripsy—a pioneering, ultrasound-based procedure that could dissolve small tumors on and inside the liver. Only one UK centre offers it; the rest are in the US at eye-watering costs.
We need to move fast.

Re-igniting Holistic Strategies
Following her surgery in January 2024, Emma embraced a holistic regimen—special diets, targeted supplements, therapeutic therapies—that seemed to slow growth and boost her resilience. Over the past months, limited funds meant we couldn’t maintain everything. It’s so hard to maintain the treatments when vitamin c is £200 a week plus supplements from the Netherlands plus hyperbaric oxygen treatments etc. it’s a big expense
---
How You Can Help
Covering treatment costs—especially histotripsy abroad—and long-term therapies will far exceed our means. Your donation will directly fund:
1. Histotripsy assessments and procedures
2. Surgical and chemotherapy expenses if not accessible through the nhs
3. Holistic therapies to support Emma’s recovery
No amount is too small. Every pound brings us closer to the treatments that could give Emma more time.
Last year your generosity was life-saving. We felt every message, every share, every pound—Emma did, too. Thank you for standing with us again as we battle this relentless disease.
If you can donate today even £1 will help us get towards our goal.
Love and appreciation,
Mark & Family
