As many of you know, my husband Jay was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
It all started after he developed a swollen optic nerve. Unfortunately, at the time it was put down to dry eye and was sold some eye drops. After the drops didnt help with vision, he eventually went to eye casualty where in hospital received his diagnosis.
The hospital staff have been fantastic. They’ve been answering all questions and supporting us through what has been a very unexpected and difficult time. Treatment is due to start next month, which is another big step on this journey.
I honestly can’t thank our family and close friends enough for all the love, support and encouragement you’ve given. It has meant more than you’ll ever know. ❤️
But one thing is for sure — we are not going to let this diagnosis hold us back!
He is continuing with his fitness training and, throughout October, be running 5K every single day to raise money and awareness for MS.
That’s 155km over the month — one day, one run and one step at a time. ♂️
And I've decided im joining him in my own way (as I can't run )
100 Squats and 50 Sit ups every day!!
3,100 Squats and 1550 Sit ups over the month- it's going to be a challenge, but we're doing it TOGETHER❤️.
If you’d like to support US, any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to US and help support people living with MS and research into the condition.
MS might be part of OUR story now, but it doesn’t define US.
Here’s to October. Let’s do this. ❤️
Thank you all for your support.
