Hello! My name is Elysia and this is my dear friend Hart. I'm passionately involved with a nonprofit called Therapet: Animal Assisted Therapy here in Tyler, TX. Our volunteers take their personal pets through the certification process to be able to serve our local hospitals, schools, crisis center, and more. Hart is a Therapet, giving selflessly and intuitively to those who need her in our community. She & her mom Tina frequently volunteer at Encompass Health Rehab Hospital, helping patients reach their physical & occupational therapy goals.

Now Hart needs OUR help: she's a 6 yo Aussie recently diagnosed with a tumor on her thyroid. The surgeon feels confident that he can easily remove it, as it’s not invasive or overly attached to surrounding tissue. Her medical team expects a great prognosis and that Hart has many years left as a Therapet. The estimate for surgery $8,500. No donation is too small - together we can help this darling girl!
