Hello, my name is Muna, this fund is managed and organised by myself on behalf of my dear friend Islam Abu Jrayda.

Hi, my name is Islam and I am trying to raise $60,000 to escape the war before it’s too late. Life in Gaza was already difficult in the first place for my parents, 9 siblings (Israa 29, Ikhlas 27, Muhammad 25, Raghda 24, Sujood 22, Ali 20, Mustafa 16, Abdul Rahman 13, Samaa 10) and myself. My dream was to be working in my own country but that has become impossible. My sister was due to start work as a teacher but her school collapsed. The entire city collapsed and all her dreams collapsed with them. There is no electricity, vegetables, fruits or meat. All we have been eating for months is what little canned foods we are able to get. There is no barbecue/coal to even warm them. Nothing is affordable anymore, we are now 200+ days in to the war and there is no money to buy anything. Tent prices have shot up - they are sold for approximately $500 and that is for lucky people who are able to secure one as they’re extremely scarce. We are now only relying on distributed aid. My brothers walk for miles and miles to bring us water each day. We hand wash the laundry with whatever water we have left. Everyday they take a large battery that is then charged for us at the UNRWA health centre for free so that we can turn on one light. We are exhausted. The Israelis have invaded Rafah and they will torture us like they did in the North. Our house is completely destroyed. We are currently living on the roof of one of our relatives house. We want to leave and go to Egypt or any safe place. We are a family of 12 and hoping to raise $60,000. The Egyptian agency (Hala) charges $5,000 per person as of now but it may cost more due to the invasion of Rafah. This war taught us that life before this genocide was under appreciated. We thank Allah in any situation as He is Sufficient for us and is the best Disposer of affairs. Nobody here is safe, but I pray we can raise the amount needed so that my family and I can start a new life whilst we still have the chance. I would be so grateful if you could help, I know this is a lot to ask but this is our last resort. Even the smallest donation would be greatly appreciated. May Allah reward you for your efforts.
