My dearest friend's cat has become very ill, and they need help raising the necessary funds to get her treated.

Their kitty's name is Cleo. In March of this year, she started bleeding and having intense swelling of the mouth. By May, the swelling went down and her mucus started to clear up. In May, we made a wellness appointment to see what we could do to help her because she was refusing to eat. By the end of May, we began force-feeding her wet food so she could eat. When she was taken in on June 7th, 2026, to see a vet, she was officially diagnosed with Stage 2 Kidney Disease. Her weight at the time was 6.7 pounds, and she was still bleeding from the mouth. The vet wants to remove her teeth, as they are causing her great pain, but we need to get her an ultrasound of her kidneys first.

Cleo has lost quite a bit of weight for her size. She is being fed the prescription Renal Health diet and continues to sleep most of the day.

The ultrasound is estimated to be $580, which is what we need help raising money for.
