My name is Tilly and I am here asking for your help to keep me as independent and active as possible :)

In 2021 I was diagnosed with a rare brain condition Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension. Pretty much over night my entire life as I knew it was bulldozed by this and I went from a fully active, full time working mum to needing carers 4 times a day and being left with an aquired brain injury. Unfortunately is has left me with many physical and cognitive issues and recently I started having seizures which means the independence I had worked so hard to regain resulting in the return of my drivers licence has now been undone. This has also affected my ability to continue with the little crafting pop up stall I set up making and selling unique jewellery and gifts. Solo Quirk was set up to help my rehabilitation and now to lose the ability to do this has had a massive impact on my mental health.

My aim has also been to remain as active and as mobile as possible but due to my physical difficulties a regular 2 wheeled bike or tricycle is not an option. I have managed to source a company who specialises in inclusive cycling equipment and found a suitable tricycle but it is very expensive. Before having any adjustments done to customise to my needs exactly I am looking at around £4,000 to purchase one.
