Hello everyone! We are the Gonzalez family from Oxnard, California. We have fallen on hard times and are currently staying in a motel. Although it is small and has no privacy, we have been fortunate to have a roof over our heads. It can sometimes be uncomfortable, and we all miss having home-cooked meals. Still, we can all agree that being together and enjoying each other's company in light of a difficult situation is crucial for keeping family unity and positivity.

However, our family needs help. Since Dad is a full-time substitute teacher and only gets paid once a month, we have run out of money to pay for our hotel. Apartments are expensive, and we couldn't find one by our move-out date. Unfortunately, all of our savings went toward hotel and living expenses, and now we cannot afford a down payment for a rental.

Please help us move into an apartment by the New Year! Anything helps.
