Raise funds for a new suitable wheelchair

HI my name is Dani and i desperately need a new Active Wheelchair. I absolutely hate the fact i am having to do this but unfortunately a new chair will cost around £3000.

My old chair, i have had since i was 14 and i unfortunately no longer fit in it, never mind all the work it needs doing to it.

Over the last year my mobility has declined and i miss my freedom and independence. My health has declined and my weight has gained due to me not having the mobility to get around. I need the physical fitness of an active wheelchair to help my health.

I want to be able to get out and about with the kids and enjoy life. Right now i feel i am stuck. Unfortunately there just isn’t the support out there to help adults like me with a wheelchair. The NHS wheelchairs just aren’t suitable to be self propelled and I’ve been waiting over a year for a referral anyway. Im currently studying a degree and want to get back into work very soon, but without a suitable chair i cant.

Any help will be extremely appreciated and go direct to a new chair. I want my old life back, my independence.
