save my business equipment and personal belongings

Hi, my name is Jonathan Moody and I'm attempting to raise funds to save my storage unit. Also cover two months cost of living until I return back to work mid to late march. This storage unit contains all my business equipment, personal belongings, items inherited from my grandfather and father whom each have recently passed away, and more importantly items that belong to my girlfriend, best friend, and business partner whom also recently passed away unexpectedly. These items are priceless to me and cant not be replaced if lost. for they are memories of the life I shared with my girlfriend and the business we built together. Items from both my grand father and father are very dear to me.

Loosing my grandfather and father was very hard but its a part of life that I think we all can relate to and will or have already experienced. But loosing my girlfriend , best friend, and business partner of 20 years was absolutely devastating. She was everything to me, even though i drove her crazy and most the time she wanted to strangle me. After twenty years of growing together the ups and downs, the brake ups and make ups. We built a bond soul deep and finally agreed to become engaged she accepted my proposal on my birthday in September and were going to announce the news to our friends and family on her birthday in October. Unfortunately we never got that opportunity, because she passed away do to vegan syndrome a couple weeks before her birthday. Ever since its been a uphill battle for me . Trying to get things reestablished and financially secure. At the same time trying to heal and get through everyday with out the support of 3 of my closest support figures in life.

For those that know me, know I've always been a generous, caring, and compassionate person. Always willing to help those around me in anyway I could. Through my work as a caregiver I've always provide help to anyone that came to me for care, More often than not free of charge. I believed the reward of curing someone's cancers, copd, ms, , anxiety, depression, arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, diabetes, or whatever aliment someone was dealing with was more of a moral responsibility than a job. I was able to do these things through my businesses I cofounder and established but lost do to the effects of covid, and state regulations forced onto the industry in which I worked in.

Then shortly after my grandfather passed away, my dog who I raised for 16 years, my father , and girlfriend each passed away within less than three months of each other. I then decided to step away from caregiving for others to focus on my own healing and grieving process. All the while the world continued to spin and bills continued to accumulate . I was able to get by on investments, savings, and the help of a great circle of friends and support system. But I then needed emergency kidney surgery . Which laid me up for almost 4 months . As my savings begun to dwindle I was then made to move three different times in the last 16 months for various reasons twice the houses in which I rented were sold. Each time I moved the place in which I rented was smaller so I needed to store majority of my belongings in a storage unit.

I continued to grind it out and was able to get ahead but again needed to move this past November. I then became my mothers health proxy to help aid her with her illnesses and assist her with her disabilities. All the while working 50 to 60 hours per week. Unfortunately I was laid off from my full time job completely unexpected 8 days ago from today. I wont return to work until late march and this is why I'm reaching out for help and to raise funds to pay for the storage unit.
