Hi, my name is Anthony Deras and my family and I woke up to a fire at 5am on April 14 2023 on 19th and Kerrigan Ave in Union City New Jersey.

The fire from another building spread to ours and we have lost almost everything we have worked hard for, our valuables, our important documents, and one of my cats was unable to come out.

We only came out with what we could grab, and our second cat Tommy. My mother has worked her whole life after coming from Honduras to provide for three of my sisters and give them a better life in America.

This fundraiser is so we can start our way back up once we find a new home after this tragedy. Anything will help, we only want to be able to have a head start.
