We have all watched the last 6 months of atrocities in Gaza unfold before our very eyes. Just when we think it can’t get any worse, it does. Day after day, we see tragedy after tragedy. This is a Genocide. The people of Gaza are experiencing severe famine, they are being raped and tortured. Their whole lives are being destroyed. Children maimed, watching their parents being murdered. How much more can we watch without doing our bit?
We couldn’t stand to watch this anymore and not do something to help. Allah swt has blessed us with an opportunity to make a difference and we cannot turn it down.
This will involve myself and a team travelling out to the nearest point to the border to assist already established teams to deliver much needed aid. I can personally assure you that we will use 100% of any donations to distribute URGENT:-
◦ medical aid
◦ emergency food packs
◦ clean water
◦ Hot meals
◦ Shelter
and whatever else is needed. We will be able to assess what and where this aid is needed the most. We will be assisted and guided by Charities already on the ground as they have the best knowledge and expertise.
We are accepting Zakaat, Sadaqah and Lillah.
Your Zakat serves as a lifeline for those enduring the challenges of war and displacement in Palestine. We are dedicated to ensuring it reaches those who need it most in Gaza and Palestine.
I humbly ask you to help me with whatever donation you can.
We are already in touch with a number of teams on the ground, so your generous donations will be used right now in Ramadan, the most blessed of months so please seek the reward.
Together we raised a staggering £40,000 last Ramadhan when I travelled to the earthquake region in Turkey. We really need to pull together again for the people of Palestine .
Your generous donations have the power to change lives. Donate your 2024 Zakat today so we can help even more people this year and provide aid for those in need during Ramadan in Palestine.
May Allah swt reward you, and give you back your wealth ten-fold after you spend in the way of Allah swt.
“Those in whose wealth there is a recognised right for the needy and the poor.”
(Qur’an 70:24-25)
Ameen
Please note: We will not be using any of the money donated for our own travel expenses/food/accommodation.
Team Member SARA RASHID
Sara Rashid is Manager & Director of Savouries by Sara Limited based in Leicester UK. She started the company 10 years ago and has grown prominently in her business and social media.
With the help of her social media following she has raised Thousands and Thousands of Pounds over the years and has even travelled to countries herself to distribute aid.
This is what her aim is again this time, to be able to help the Palestinians. Although it is significantly difficult to get aid over the border, there are thousands of Palestinians stuck after crossing the border, with little or no access to water, food, medical aid. This is where the Sara and the team are wanting to concentrate as there are thousands of people in dire need and tragic circumstances.

Alongside her family Nasreen has been actively involved in humanitarian work fundraising for charities, assisting in Morocco disaster relief and many years of fostering refugee children.
Having just visited Cairo and the surrounding region I have seen first hand the impact of the genocide that is taking place.
I visited hospitals, distribution centres and houses of displaced Palestinian families many of whom still have some members of their family stranded in Gaza.
Some of the heart breaking stories I heard and witnessing their horrific injuries brought tears to my eyes.
Many of the children have lost their innocent childhood, stories of pillage, rape and murder and ongoing genicide too horrific to share have pushed me to do much more than I had originally set out to do.
Team Member RAHEEMA CARATELLA
Youth, community and green activist. A humanitarian who strives for social justice and gives her all in whatever she sets her mind to.
With several international projects already underway and a long history of successful fundraising for several charities both locally and internationally. I strongly feel a sense of moral responsibility to be the change you wish to see in the World.
This collective action will support the Palestinian people through emergency assistance of food, water, shelter and medical aid.
The strength of the people of Palestine says it all. Their faith is stronger than anything we have seen and their courage is felt across the entire world.
We have to try every avenue and platform available to us including this fundraising attempt to help support the immediate need but also to support displaced Palestinians living in Cairo by providing longer term assistance through a resource centre.
