Hi, My name is Sebastian. I am 34 years old and a proud Aboriginal Transgender Man currently living in Melbourne.

Ever since I was about 3 years old, I can remember wanting nothing more than to be a Boy. I have been on testosterone for 1.5 years but have not yet had the top surgery. I’ve recently stopped working due to Grieving the recent loss of my Father.. I thought I’d see if I could get some support from Community to help raise some money to put towards my TOP SURGERY. The work that I love to do involves working in preventative spaces for either Aboriginal or LGBTQIA+ Mob️‍⚧️ ️‍ and helping them work towards a better future by breaking down the barriers that hold Our People back. So for me to be able to remove a barrier that’s holding me back would mean so much to me and the people I work with!

What TOP SURGERY would mean to me/for me:

Everyday I wear a binder that flattens my breasts. This can be both uncomfortable and restrictive. So to be able to throw a Tshirt on and have a flat chest and be able to breathe comfortably would be an absolute dream come true and another step towards me becoming the man I am on the inside! The Body Dysmorphia that I experience on a day to day basis can be crushing and straining on my mental health which on some days renders me unable to function.

This type of surgery can range anywhere from

$4000+ I’m looking to raise at least $5000-$6000 but If there is more than enough raised for what is required for my surgery and the post surgery cost, anything leftover will be donated to either an Aboriginal Organisation where the funds will go back into Community OR a Pay It Forward organisation that provides support for LGBTQIA+ people who are not able to purchase binders and items to help eliminate body dysmorphia. Once the donation is made, a receipt with said organisation will be attached as proof that you’ve helped raise funds towards providing support for the LGBTQIA+ Community or Aboriginal Community.
