Raise Awareness of Treaty to Ban Nuclear Weapons

We want to raise awareness of the new UN Treaty on the prohibition of nuclear Weapons.  The USA has ignored this Treaty and not very many US citizens are aware of it. We will use the funds raised here to put advertisements on the RIPTA busses so that people will be able to read about the Treaty and go to the ICAN  website to learn more about it.  Any funds leftover from the campaign will be donated to ICAN.

Update 15 March '21.  Esteemed Donor to our project to Raise Awareness in RI of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, we are now nearly ready to place the planned advertisements; however we have changed our plans slightly.  In the accompanying video, we mention plans to put advertisements on or in the RIPTA busses. We are now planning to place the placards on some of the bus shelters (vs. on the busses themselves). We feel this will still address the transit-using public, but will be more visible to others as well. We are choosing locations that will have high passing traffic, both vehicles and pedestrians. 

Update 14 July '21. The twelve bus shelter posters have been in place around Rhode Island for nearly 2 months. We are re-visiting donors to raise more funds to keep some or all of the posters in place for a longer period.
