We are Rendezvous Intelligence, a small team from Stockholm who have spent the past year tracking an environmental disaster waiting to happen.

Right now, hundreds of rusting, uninsured oil tankers are crossing the Baltic Sea, one of the world's most fragile and enclosed bodies of water. These are Russia's shadow fleet: 600+ aging vessels evading Western sanctions, carrying hazardous cargo with no proper insurance, no accountability, and no one watching.

The average shadow fleet tanker is over 18 years old. On the Kaliningrad route, the average is 29. Most ships are scrapped at 20–25. These vessels are not just old, they are dangerously old, and they are sailing through waters that cannot recover from a major spill the way open oceans can.

That's why we built a live tracking platform - and why we're asking for your help to keep it up and running.

We're not a corporation. We're a small, self-funded team who care deeply about protecting these waters. Our platform already tracks over 600 shadow vessels in real time. But awareness only creates change if it reaches people. The funds we raise go directly toward the data licenses and satellite access needed to expand our monitoring, publish public alerts, and make the risk visible to coastal communities, environmental organisations, journalists, and policymakers across all eight Baltic NATO states.

The Baltic coastline runs through Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, and Denmark. These are our waters and our home. The people living along them deserve to know what is passing through.
