Raise awareness around liver disease
This August, I’m taking on one of the UK’s toughest mountain challenges: the Bob Graham Round, a 66-mile route over 42 peaks in the Lake District. But instead of attempting it in the traditional 24 hours, I’ll be completing it solo over 4 days, from August 7th to 10th, raising funds for British Liver Trust
More information about British Liver Trust: Liver disease is the only major cause of death in the UK on the increase, causing one in ten deaths of people in their 40s. The British Liver Trust is the UK's leading adult liver health charity. Through our campaigning, helpline, support groups, publications and website we aim to increase awareness of all liver conditions including liver cancer, and improve early detection and treatment in order to save lives.
As some of you may know my brave grandfather is suffering from liver cirrhosis and he is the reason for why I have personally chosen to support the British liver foundation. To help spread awareness around liver related illnesses.
