Support Shug's Pilgrimage to Nepal!

I will once again be traveling to the sacred Kathmandu Valley to attend the annual Nepal Tattoo Convention this April.

Since my last trip to Kathmandu, I've been reflecting on the powerful holy sites I was fortunate to visit. Sadly, many of the valley's once-powerful spiritual locations are now tourist destinations. The temples still host rituals, but the deeper spiritual practices that once charged these places with energy are fading. According to the yogic scriptures, this is a sign of the Kali Yuga—a time when true practice is rare, and yogis harder to find.

For thousands of years, these place have emanated energy, protecting and uplifting the world in unseen ways. When they’re forgotten, something vital is lost.

This year, with our Guru's blessing, my daughter Kaya and I will be returning to not just visit these places, but help revive them. We’ll be planting blessed ritual objects from our Ashram—charged with sacred energy and intention—at key sites, creating a direct link between ancient power and living practice.

As many of you know, all of my tattoo income supports our Yoga Ashram, where I live in full-time service. Because of this, I am asking for help in funding this pilgrimage. Donations will be used to cover travel costs, lodgings, and offerings.
